REIKI TRAINING CLASS SCHEDULE

Winter 2010

• Reiki I/II Class - Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Reiki I/II is the first session for the series of training classes to learn this energy-based system of stress reduction, relaxation and spiritual centering.  Learn the history of the Usui Reiki System of healing, how Reiki is used, and the various hand positions to give a Reiki treatment on self and others.  The Reiki I/II attunements will also be given and each participant will receive a textbook and a certificate.  It is recommended that you have at least one individual Reiki session (available at Dominican Center 616-454-1241) before participating in Reiki I/II in order to experience this form of energy work and as a preparation to receiving the attunement.  I love to meet my students prior to the class. • Advanced Reiki Training - Friday, May 7, 2010

The Reiki Level I/II class is a pre-requisite for this class.  Advanced Reiki Training helps the Reiki practitioner increase their own energy and grounding with meditations.  Also, several new techniques will be taught that greatly enhance the ability to work with clients, self and family members. Another attunement will be given to increase the strength of Reiki energy.  A textbook and a certificate will be given.  As you prepare for this class, it is recommended that you have a series of three individual Reiki sessions as well as attendance at three sessions of the monthly Reiki Support Group to support your continued healing. Class size is limited to 10 participants.  $250.00. Instructor: Jan Atwood, Reiki Master / Teacher

Class Schedule for Advanced Reiki Training:

• Reiki III/Master Class - Friday, April 23, 2010
  

This class will enhance your ability as a practitioner as well as give you the ability to teach Reiki, if you wish.  Reiki Level I/II and Advanced Reiki Training classes are both pre-requisites for this class.  A new attunement is given, and the attunement process will be taught and practiced.  A textbook and certificate will be given upon completion.  It is recommended that you continue receiving Reiki sessions and attend at least six sessions of the Reiki Support Group in preparation for this class to support your continued healing. Class size is limited to 10 participants.  $400.00.  Instructor: Jan Atwood, Reiki Master / Teacher

• Special note:  If you do wish to continue beyond Reiki I/II, it is important to give yourself time before going on to Advanced Reiki and before going on to Reiki III/Master.  Take the time to become used to this wonderful new energy, to practice both on yourself and on others, and to receive Reiki for your continued healing! You will be more able to assist others in their healing as you become more healed yourself! It makes a big difference!
